iFixMate is a local phone and device repair service based in Walkergate, Newcastle upon Tyne. This blog is where we share practical advice: how to look after your phone, what to do when something goes wrong, and how repairs work, so you can make an informed decision before you spend any money.

How a repair works

1. Tell us the device and the fault. The quickest way is our Request a Repair form, where you can also add photos of the damage.
2. We confirm a quote. You will know the price, the type of part, the expected timing and the warranty before any work begins.
3. You decide. Nothing is repaired, and nothing is charged, until you approve the quote.
4. We repair and test your device and let you know as soon as it is ready.

Selling an old phone?

Ask us about old or faulty iPhones you no longer need. We always ask for proof of ownership, and we do not accept devices that are locked to someone else’s account or reported lost or stolen.
